Sometimes our tv (which is old) turns itself on again right after being turned off. But it is within seconds, finger still depressing the button, either at the tv or with the remote. Usually it if is the remote, it's due to low battery juice sending intermittent signals.
Buuuut, last night after I'd be in bed for a while, the tv turned itself on again. I have never known this tv to ever do that before. Not hours later. I flew out into the living room, expecting to see someone sitting on the couch. I don't know who it could have been since Mike was beside me in bed. Possibly a cat just sleeping on top of the remote.
The remote was sitting on the coffee table. There was nobody in the living room.
Just getting up right now, I opened the living room curtains to get to the patio door. It looks a lovely blue sky type of day. I figured it would be warmish out, and it feels stuffy in here. I noticed what look like fingerprints on the outside of the glass near the handle. I guess it's lucky the patio door has been locked while we are at work. The screen is also locked, but that is so easy to slash through.
No wonder I have a headache. I guess it's time to break out the sage. Again.
