post-weekend blah
Sep. 7th, 2010 07:51 pmI spent the better part of the last few days in ever increasing amounts of pain in my neck. It was starting to become difficult to turn my head without tensing. Then, a panicky moment, when I was rubbing my neck/collarbone, and could feel a lump.
*gulp*
I had just woken up, so I was still in that dazed sleep fog & it freaked me out. Turns out that my back was also really, really out. When Mike fixed it, the bones going back into place made a loud wet, meaty sound. Sorry. Graphic, I know. I was there. Mike was grossed out about it too.
But, with my back being out like that, somehow, it convinced my left shoulder to start to wiggle out of joint. If that shoulder ever totally dislocates, I might not even notice right away. (yeah, right). I only said something to Mike because the pain was increasing to a point where I couldn't ignore it anymore, and I thought I was dying. (Hello, hyperbole. You're a regular around here.)
Woof. It's definitely time for a chai and an episode of Buffy.
