Sep. 3rd, 2010 06:58 pm1. it's the Labour Day weekend! Yess. Next week all the children go back to school and so the bus will be jam packed once again & I will have to stand and/or lurch around, and generally feel awkward.
2. OMG A CUTE GUY SAID 'HELLO' TO ME THIS MORNING AS I WAS WALKING TO WORK. Oh yes, there was the flickering away eye contact and then back again. Nice. I was awesome in that I did not trip all over myself & fall down on the sidewalk. Shh. The Mister gets a little jealous when Other Dudes check me out. Yet sometimes he likes it because he likes how I look too & it makes him feel good I am with him. I think that's Caveman Brain. Still, I belong to myself, and remind him of that occasionally, because there is nothing like being considered chattel to make me feel riled up. Hey, maybe that's why we never got married. Hmm. No, it's that the very idea freaks me out. Used to freak me out. Now I realize that marriage is whatever you make it. (I do think that all people regardless of race, gender, or sexual orientation should have the right to get married, and that nobody should ever be forced into marriage.)
3. Today felt like it took eleventy billion hours to finish. See point #1
4. Still deciding if I want to buy another Lululemon bag and/or have a custom bag made on Etsy. Not a yoga mat bag per se, but it would be awesome to be able to carry mat + clothes + purse contents + lunch in one bag, and be secure from pickpockets & functional. I would rather the bag be something I could use everyday. I love Lululemon products, and I do have one of their bags but it is mammoth & I tend to overload it. I do love the amount of interior/exterior pockets it has, but still, it's big. Also, my bag is navy, not scary pink. Now that I have a Jade yoga mat it is heavier, and I notice that weight carrying it around. I definitely can't wear my mat bag across my body anymore, it's just too heavy for that. I have looked at the Saka Pinda yoga backpack, but, backpacks are hard with the bulk of winter coats and don't always fit every body. I am not really a backpack kind of person for everyday, unless I was hiking/being outside all day, etc.
5. Might go to the fair this weekend. Yippee.
6. Considering doing The Sketchbook Project. Still undecided, but it looks exciting & intriguing. That's almost enough to sell me. BUT. I wouldn't be able to keep the sketchbook. Hmm. Might do it just for myself.
7. Must finish closet decluttering project.
8. Clean the general messiness of the apartment.
9. Buy some damn groceries.
10. Eatthe some parmagiano-reggiano I have lurking in my fridge. Oh yeah. The grater is coming for you mister. You shall not escape.
