theme of the week; love

Taurus, April 20 - May 20

Whatever you’re doing this week, it’s important to love it. If you have mixed feelings, or unresolved issues around your work or your relationships, you’re going to find that you have way more work to do than you’d like. Mercury goes retrograde in your house of creative projects, making it likely that at least one major labor of love will need tweaking now, even if you thought it was complete, or on the perfect track. You have to love this too. Love is the answer, no matter what you’re faced with. All signs point to clearing up illusions or blasting through the fog that’s been keeping you in too idealistic a mode. Everything that happens now happens for an important reason, one that leads you to the kind of fulfillment you’ve never dreamed of before.

Let nothing, especially your own resistance, hold you back.

Emphasis on the sentence is mine. I am blown away by the patterns I see crop up in my life. After I worked on my art journal page about not believing when I am told that I am loved, everywhere was Love. I found the word 'Love' made out of wire in an art magazine and ripped it out for future use. Then, I cut up a phrase, "Allow Yourself to Let Go" and glued it on. Underneath that I wrote, "Allow yourself to BE LOVED." I like how it looks like BELOVED at the same time. I've been dealing with a fair amount of resistance lately too, which is showing up in my yoga practice. I'm finding it extremely difficult to get on my mat.

I feel like I'm in sync with whatever non-sync aspects of my life that are revealing themselves right now. I'm in harmony with my disharmony. Everything seems contrary. For example, two of our friends are moving back to Ontario from the West Coast. One got a job in Toronto after hunting for a job in LA. While living in LA, all his jobs were in Vancouver. While living in Vancouver, all his jobs were in LA. The other friend is just homesick. Mike & I have been planning on moving to the West Coast for years. Seems like the gang is coming back home just as we are willing to go. Contrary, and a bit amusing.
