slowlyunfolding- was awakened last night by an arm slung rather heavily about my midsection
- realized phone was lighting up room. Lost network carrier or some such. I'm assuming at 3:30 am the satellite is off kilter. ?
- fought with the aforementioned arm slinger for the blanket. it was like playing tug of war with the Sphinx. I still won.
- had to get up & go pee because of heavy arm slinger woofing on my bladder. Jerk.
- strange dream in which I go shopping (shut up):
unnamed store having clearance sale:
seemed to have rented a vacant storefront at some mall
full of all kinds of oddities & curiosities
picked up weird shaped notebook, apparently for screenwriting. (I don't know either). Didn't like the shape of it and put it back. Found another journal covered with an old map, and was on sale!! for $9.95. Apparently the original price was $431. ??? Once again, I don't even know. Bought it, and as I was leaving the store, the owner said something to the effect of 'check out the masks,' or 'we have a lot of masks, you should look at them.' I was scanning the wall where a bunch of purses were hanging, and none seemed suitable to even ask to have one taken down to be fondled. I looked at the masks, and realized I wasn't interested in them although I thought they were pretty awesome in their tribal ferocity.
Now, for my next trick, finding my shoes, grabbing my bag & running to catch the bus.
