I was confused mightily by the term 'Destiel' earlier tonight & had to seek the sage wisdom of one stripedsockscat  on the matter. It turns out this is a reference to Dean/Cas slash. On my word, I have never heard of this before. I am not cool enough to know what the kids are up to nowadays.

Okay, I'm a big lying hor. I just have not heard of that weird Destiel word. 

I have been schooled.

To be fair, most fans don't use the "Destiel" portmanteau (I personally think it sounds super-awkward). But OMG THAT GIF O_O
