in which, I have more unsettling dreams

slowlyunfoldingBrain is on overdrive this week with The Dreams.
1. Old Oak All Girls Witchery School
- school was inside an enormous oak tree, literally. Staircases & rooms were carved out of the living wood.
- magic & whimsy were in the air
- teachers weren't present, but students talked about them with a mix of respect, admiration and a little fear. Seemed that the teachers always seemed to know what was going on in their absence
2. Residences
-a) Old Oak All Girls Dorm Room vs - b)Enormous House Filled with Luxurious Items, but Lacking Love
- a)fairytale room, nice roommates, light & laughter, friendship/love, tree branches waving, also an edge of something dark & sinister in the shadows
-b) huge bedroom, ornate/overstuffed. alone. lights on, house echoing around. have to turn off all the lights & tv in rest of house or trouble will ensue. (even though I didn't leave lights/tv on). Walked through enormous kitchen that looked more professional than one commonly found in a house, Turned off all the lights, tried to turn off the tv. The tv kept turning itself on. Got fed up, and unplugged it, but the tv STILL kept turning itself on. Horror. TV was one of those old school wooden cabinet on wee legs with the knobs and speakers on the side. The glass of the tv was slightly convex. Like an eye. Not airing anything violent or gross. It was the incessant gabble & overwrought feeling that a tv on all day makes me feel -- slightly panicky, like I can't relax. My mom figured slightly at the end of this part. She didn't really believe that I couldn't turn the tv off. It was starting to get scary.
Then, Misha tweeted which beeped on my phone & woke me up. Thank you sir. That was much appreciated. I thought I was lost down the rabbit hole forever.
