le fin de le weekend

slowlyunfoldingAh, another weekend comes to a close. Yoga was particularly intense today. We had stations to work through to access different release points in the body. I didn't realize it until now ... but stuff released big time.
We've been kidsitting this weekend. I just have to mention how different it's been with a small person about the house. Well, short. Aforementioned kid is 10. We watched The Simpsons Movie last night. Ha ha SpiderPig! We went for breakfast after they decided to release us from yoga early today. The waitress commented on Young Mister's manners. Then we got into a foot war under the table. That had us all laughing. I thought it was cute because I was wearing my Chuck Taylors' and Ben was wearing ones that looked like Chucks.
Then we went to Chapters, bought some books, came home. I drank some chai, and started feeling really tired. All those areas that the yoga has been working on releasing all weekend caught up to me. Luckily I do not have a t-rex peen*. I gave up and went for a nap. I was out for hours. It was the best nap ever. I had the windows open. All this lovely spring air was bathing me in it's softness. I love this time of year.
*if you don't know what I'm talking about Google: Nip/Tuck + Manny Skerritt. You'll thank me in the morning. Also,I kind of snicker to myself whenever I have to do Plow pose in class now. Yes, I am 12.
