slowlyunfoldingNow I enter the week of holiday land on my own. Mike was very depressed/sad/emo last night about going back to work today. When I heard the car drive off this morning, I felt a pang deep inside my heart. Or else my stomach.
I've been on spendy spend mode for the last week. At least I have bananas and milk to show for it. I bought a cute coinpurse from Etsy last night. So cute it's cyoot. My current coin purse is slowly deconstructing itself. Anyway, I can't wait to get my grabby mitts all over it. Is Etsy not the siren singing softly in modern day?
Wow. Way overstated and bordering on frilly poetic usage of words. I roll my eyes intensely at myself. Hey, I've been thinking of decluttering the apartment. Of stuff! Maybe I can actually get up the nerve to throw out my old jeans that either don't fit or have worn themselves transparent. Maybe today I will go hang about in coffee shops and fake some ennui and doodle in my Moleskine that is reserved for nonlinear thoughts. I should have a beret for that kind of action, and I lost mine. Yes, it was raspberry okay. Let's move on.

Oh yeah, zen calendar? Are you trying to pick a fight? Hmm. I sense that I might actually agree somewhat with this statement after getting all ruffled up initially. Living in the world is preferable for the dirt, the beauty, the awe, the everything immediate and pulsating than living in pages, flat, not your dirt, not your beauty, not your awe, everything redrawn in your imagination, not experienced directly. Most importantly, not your words. I wonder. Great, now I'm going to be stuck with deep thoughts all day.
