Jan. 23rd, 2011 11:04 amThe sun is actually shining! It's hitting my back where I am sitting, and feels lovely. However, it looks c-c-cold outside. Also, listening to the sound of the card tires crunching on the snow, makes me think it's ridiculously cold. I am over the frigid temperatures. I want to race around with sandals on! get more freckles! Sigh. All in good time.
I finally, FINALLY got an area rug for my living room. I was going to trek to IKEA yesterday, but Mike was definitely not feeling well, & I didn't really want to go apeshit grabbing stuff that I didn't really need. I have wanted a proper area rug since we moved here, lo these many moons ago. I spent a HUGE chunk of time organizing/cleaning the kitchen yesterday. New shelving rack is a win. It's kind of huge, and looks like something that belongs in a garage, but I don't even care. Stupid small apartment kitchens, with no storage space. The kitchen is still not quite cleaned up enough, but I shall emerge victorious. Or die trying. I know. I am trying to clean all the things. We all know how this is going to end.
Might be prudent to start a prayer circle now.
