Signal Boost - Racefail in Progress.

amazonziti 's LJ yesterday. I couldn't finish reading because of I felt horrified, and disgusted. The racefail in question is a fic freshly posted to a Supernatural J2 Big Bang community, of which I am not a part of. I don't read much fanfic. No, really. I don't because I usually don't understand it. The conventions of fanfic confuse me, and the writing sometimes makes me want to stab my eyes or my monitor.
The current racefail storm is a J2 (Jensen Ackles/Jared Padalecki) fic written for a Big Bang, set in Haiti, post-earthquake. The author was writing her story when the tragedy in Haiti was still being reported; when bodies were still being pulled from buildings because she thought it was the best idea ever. The entry I linked to is a meta post of all links in regards to the story. It is not the actual story itself.
